Every 4 years the people of Brest in southern Brittany host this spectacular event and welcome over two thousand classic vessels and tall ships from all around the world.
The Brest festival is a celebration of traditional sail, music, food, and drink and is perfectly orchestrated as only the French seem to know how to do. More details of the event can be found on the official website here.
